Anteotech Ltd (ASX: ADO)

Hi, I know you don’t normally comment on small cap spec stocks but you commented on 1414 degrees last week and I would like your thoughts on ADO as I feel its on the cusp of a major breakout with so many possible areas it could get major deals and be a major player in Batteries and Life science.

PM Capital Global Opportunities Fund (ASX: PGF)

Thanks for your excellent daily analysis, which I read assiduously to inform my portfolio choices. While I’m well aware you don’t provide individual investment advice, I’d love your assessment of PM Capital Global Opportunities Fund (ASX: PGF). I’m looking to take some of the risk out of my portfolio given the extreme volatility with individual stock picking.
They follow a benchmark-unaware strategy weighted in European banks and industrial commodities, while hedging currency. It trades at a premium to its NTA. How would you view this holding?

Question asked

Eagers Automotive Ltd (ASX: APE), Light & Wonder (ASX: LNW), and Aristocrat (ASX: ALL)

Hi James & Team
Would you continue to hold APE, ALL & LNW in the consumer discretionary space?
Would it be prudent to sell these stocks and re-allocate funds into a more bullish sector? With Inflation and probably one interest rate rise by the end of the year weighing on the consumer should we be avoiding these consumer discretionary stocks until the outlook improves?

Cyclicals

Hi Team,
I watch many buy, sell, hold podcasts and anytime a cyclical stock is mentioned, the feeling I get is that it is a no go. So, when a guest on these podcast first words are “But it is a Cyclical”, does that mean to avoid. Nobody says we are in the right cycle now to buy this or in this cycle we would not buy this. Does anybody know when a cycle starts or is it always after the event?

Thank you for all your efforts.

Starpharma Holdings (ASX: SPL) recent performance re rights

A fairly late question that thanks for any insight for future guidance.
There was a period last month where, if you held SPL shares, you could sell the shares and purchase the rights for a reasonable margin. I did this but wondered why it looked like a no lose situation to me I thought there must be something I had overlooked. Now I wish I had been more decisive. Does that situation occur at times even with MM portfolios?
Now that the trend seems to be establishing do you still see value in SPL or should I take some off the table.
Regards
Peter

Question asked

Corporate Travel Mgt. (CTD)

Hi guys,
So I am one of those investors trapped in the Corporate Travel disaster. In my years investing, I was never caught in these sort of issues and I’ve never paid much attention to what happened to other trading companies in similar circumstances.

There is commentary about Corporate Travel resuming trading soon and so I would appreciate to get some education on the different potential scenarios that may unfold, so I can figure where to go from here.

I understand the short position has reduced significantly (I guess through some off market trading?), and the recently posted accounts (if you were to believe them) didn’t look as bad as perhaps expected.
Even though investors’ confidence has been trashed, I wonder if there is a PE house or competitor waiting for the bloodbath to then jump in

Look forward to your thoughts.
Thanks, Angela

Hi Team
Now that CTD is trading again, how do you see the share price going from here?
A massive drop in share price. Is that a reflection of the company suddenly losing such much value or sentiment has changed?
Is it a good time to buy the dip and how do you see the price going forward?
Thanks
Boon

Dear MM,
Many thanks for all the great work. I was hoping to get your thoughts on Corporate Travel Management, CTD. It’s been an interesting year and couple of days!
Best regards, Mark
